Frequently Asked Questions

What continence services does NCAAS provide?

NCAAS provides specialist continence assessment, advice and management for people living with neurological disabilities and other complex conditions. Our clinicians can assist with bladder and bowel management, continence products, routines, education and personalised strategies designed to improve comfort, dignity, independence and quality of life.

What wound care services does NCAAS provide?

Our experienced clinicians provide comprehensive wound assessment and management, including support for complex and chronic wounds. We work with clients, families and their broader healthcare teams to develop personalised wound care plans and monitor progress to support effective healing and reduce the risk of complications.

Can NCAAS services be funded through the NDIS?

Yes. NCAAS works with NDIS participants and their support teams to provide appropriate continence and wound care services. Depending on your individual NDIS plan and circumstances, our services may be funded through your plan. We can work with participants, support coordinators and other healthcare professionals to help determine the most appropriate pathway for accessing our services.

Who can access NCAAS continence and wound services?

NCAAS supports people of all ages who may require specialist continence or wound care, particularly people living with neurological disabilities, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and other complex health conditions. Our team works closely with participants, families, carers and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, person-centred care.
